Frequently Asked Questions [header]
. What happens when I fill out an application?
When you fill out an application, your information is immediately updated in our database and our preliminary recruiting department will contact you via telephone or email (your choice) to discuss and confirm your information. It is imperative that you respond back to us within 2 days so that we may begin matching up your profile with various hospitals. Once we have confirmed your information and you want to proceed, we will submit your professional information to our client hospitals within the specified destinations you selected. NONE of your personal information (name, address, phone) will be available at this time. Hospitals will then review your application online and contact us for detailed information. Before we release ANY of your personal information, we will contact you with the assignment details. If you are interested in the assignment and grant permission, we will release your entire profile to the hospital for review. If you are not interested in the hospital, we will locate another hospital and discuss the details with you. Again, none of your personal information will be released without your consent.

.
. Am I committed once I fill out an applicaton?
Oh no. No commitments whatsoever. We simply ask that you respond to our emails/ phone calls promptly to update us on your availability. If you choose not to travel or to travel with another company please let us know immediately. This way, we will not continue to contact you. We will wait for your direction, we are here to serve you and you alone.

.
. Things to consider before applying....

Correct eMail address / Telephone #: It is very important that we receive a valid email address and telephone number.

Licensing: Licensing varies state to state. Most states offer a temporary license valid between 90 days and 1 year. The process of getting a temporary license varies from each state. Some states are 'walkthrough' states and only require about 7 - 12 days to process, while other states may take up to 3 months. We will assist you in obtaining your new temporary license. Please consider the licensing requirements for each state you are interested in traveling to before filling out an application. EXAMPLE: You are currently licensed only in your home state and you want travel and work in another state within 30 days. Make sure you review our licensing requirements page to see if that state has licensing available within 30 days. If not, you may want to consider another state or a later start date.

References: Page 3 of our application requires at least 2 current references (professional or educational). We will NOT contact these references unless you give us permission. There is a button you will select for each reference that informs us whether or not we may contact the reference.

Skills Checklist: We have the most thorough online skills checklist of any agency. It is very important that you completely fill out each skills checklist that you have experience with. Simply skip the ones that you have no experience with. The skills that you fill out online will be reviewed by hospitals within your destination choices.

Editing/Revising Your Application: If your internet connection fails while you are filling out an application online, simply return to our website, and choose 'Apply Online'. Then choose Edit Existing Application where you will be prompted to enter your email address and password. You may then continue to fill out the application.

.
. What happens during the telephone interview?
How is it arranged? Am I committed at that point?

We will call you 5 minutes prior to the scheduled interview time and then call the hospital together on a 3 way conference call. After a quick introduction between you and the hospital staff coordinator, we will hang up and let you and the hospital converse privately. After the interview is over, simply call us back and let us know how the interview went. Again, there are no commitments at this point. This is an excellent opportunity for you to 'interview' the hospital and the hospital to 'interview' you. Some phone interviews last only 5 minutes, some may last up 35 minutes. We encourage our new travelers to write down a list of questions to ask the hospital. Our goal is to make sure the assignment is a good fit for both traveler and hospital.
